The aim of this project was to encapsulate London Diversity as a whole through the use of typography. London is a city that benefited from diversity. It is multicultural and the variety is abundant and evident in this city. From food, fashion, different cultures and languages. Each and everyone have influences this city and it would never be the same without its diversity. To try and capture London’s diversity as a whole I designed different set of icons forced into grids to form typography.
The Icons: London is a city with a diverse culture. The Variety of food you can find in the city, the different styles in fashion and patterns worn and sold everywhere, different races, communities and neighbourhood all living in this city, loads of typography,
design and art styles around the city, buildings and structures that surround it. These are things that represent diversity in London and are all influenced by different cultures and backgrounds. London would not be the same without these things. Every one of us contributes and influences the city. Each piece of icons represents that.
